Leadership

Throughout my professional career I have assumed Leadership positions, developing experience in building strong cohesive teams. I am an effective communicator, and work towards bridging gaps and finding consensus. That being said, I am also confident to stand alone and challenge a popular position when it is required. As Deptartment Head of a High School, I often represent competing interests and am diligent to represent all sides fairly. As the Head Coach of various teams over many years,  I have experience providing vision, direction and motivation as well as accepting responsibility when things don't go as smoothly as planned. I will commit myself to working with everyone on Council toward the goal of building a strong, united team that serves the interests of all residents, neighborhoods, and communities in the City of Burlington.
